The Week in Politics
The highlight of politics this week is not what happened, but what didn’t happen. We all remember this famous photograph from last year when Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer (R-Psychoville) took time away from counting headless bodies in the Arizona desert to tell President Obama that she’s a very unhappy person:
But this year, something changed. She resolved that her state would stop trying to kill old people and instead embrace Medicaid expansion under Obamacare. It was certainly the political makeover of the year, and look at the results:
Not only is the body language better, but her complexion goes to show there’s still some reasons left to hope for change.
